With pretty much everything closed and nowhere to go, it is so important for our youth to have an outlet that isn't detrimental to their physical or mental health, and no better outlet than movement.

Movement and exercise plays a huge part in releasing those feel good hormones, as well as helping to release any built up stress or stiffness from a day of bum sitting.

I make the sessions as accessible as possible, so you can see from the video that I'm not even using gym equipment.

A schoolbag with any weighted items (books/rocks!), a brush handle (or hurl!) and a cushion/pillow (a Penney's one!) is all you need to see you through the sessions.

About the Gym

The work we do in the gym is not just for the sake of the youth's physical health and strength, but it also contributes hugely towards building confidence, mental resilience, self esteem, and an overall positive body image that has nothing got to do with how their bodies look.

It's so wonderful how progress in the gym can help to make progress in other areas of life outside of the gym. Especially for teens, when it comes to building confidence and self esteem.

While the classes have a focus on strength training, we also incorporate an array of exercises that works on flexibility, agility, stamina, coordination, balance and speed.

All exercises in the classes are progressed and regressed to suit each teen, to make sure they are safe throughout. Safety and quality of movement is always prioritised above speed and load.

During the school year, the classes are run in blocks of 6 to 9 weeks to coincide with the school terms.

4th-6th year teens are every Monday and Wednesday at 4.30pm, and 1st-3rd year teens are every Tuesday and Thursday at 4.30pm.

To book into the current term, please book a Trial Pass below, and I'll discuss your options about the remainder of the term with you from there.

Places are allocated on a first come first served basis so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Numbers are capped to ensure the teens get all the attention and instruction they need, so they can grow stronger, fitter, healthier and happier.​

To book the twice per week option, please book both the Tuesday and Thursday courses separately and use the code "tweens1" for Tuesday and "tweens2" for Thursday to avail of a 10% discount.
