About the Gym

Not just a fitness class, but a gym session that is guided safely, efficiently, and effectively by a competent coach, to help your kid or teen become more confident, resilient, motivated, and to move strongly through life with freedom and fearlessness.

The work we do in the gym is not just for the sake of the kids and teens physical health and strength, but it also contributes hugely towards building confidence, mental resilience, self esteem, and an overall positive body image.

It's so wonderful to see how progress in the gym can help to make progress in other areas of their lives outside of the gym. Especially for teens, when it comes to building confidence and self esteem.

While the classes have a focus on strength training, we also incorporate an array of exercises that works on flexibility, agility, stamina, coordination, balance and speed.

All exercises in the classes are progressed and regressed to suit each kid and teen, to make sure they are safe throughout. Safety and quality of movement is always prioritised above speed and load.

Teens Gym

Secondary School

 

During the school term, the teens gym is 4.30pm Monday - Friday, and 10.30am on Saturday.

Junior Teens is aimed at 1st and 2nd year students, or those who are brand new to the gym.

Intermediate Teens is perfect for those who have done at least one full year of the Junior Teens Gym or 3rd and 4th year students.

Senior Teens is aimed at 4th to 6th year students or 3rd years who have at least one year of gym experience.

Numbers are capped to ensure the teens get all the attention and instruction they need, so they can grow stronger, fitter, healthier and happier.​

Places are allocated on a first come first served basis so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
