ABOUT THE TEENS GYM

Our Teen Gym is not just any old fitness class. Yes, you will get fit, but more importantly you will get strong.

​

It is not an open gym, but a coach-led gym session where you are guided safely, efficiently, and effectively by a competent youth coach.

​

We cater for all levels and abilities, so regardless of your previous gym, sport, or exercise history, you will be more than able to join in.

​

In fact, our gym is the perfect place for those who don't play sport!

​

Numbers are capped to just 9 to ensure the teens get all the attention and instruction they need, so they can grow stronger, fitter, healthier and happier.​

​

Places are allocated on a first come first served basis so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.

​

  TASTER SESSION  

  Not sure about joinging in? Try a taster session!  

Taster sessions are limited to 2 per class and are only available if spots remain unfilled at the start of the term. They can be booked 3 days in advance if any spots are still available.​

WHAT WE DO

You will learn how to use a barbell safely and correctly to build strength, resilience, and confidence.

​

Both days are individually programmed for each teen. We record all the sets, reps, and weights in your notebook to ensure everyone is making progress and getting stronger from week to week.

 

The first part of the gym session is on the strength side of things, after the warm up of course. Day 1, we focus on the barbell deadlift and bench press. Day 2, we focus on barbell back squats.

​

After the strength work, we use free weights, such as dumbbells and kettlebells, TRX, weighted cables, medicine balls, plyometric boxes, and bodyweight exercises to work the upper and lower body, as well as the core and abs.

​

Every session works the entire body and you will leave feeling energised and accomplished.
