About Me
Hello Everyone at Freedom Fitness! I’m Alan, a self-confessed coffee addict, Liverpool and Munster Rugby supporter, and avid follower of Irish Football and Rugby.
Since being diagnosed with epilepsy in 2019, I’ve developed a deep interest in the neurological and physiological benefits of exercise and healthy habits. This led me to enrol in the Personal Training course at UCD and pursue further studies in biomedical engineering, focusing on human health and performance.
My early involvement in GAA sparked my passion for optimizing human performance and strength. As a Health and Fitness Professional and student Biomedical Engineer, I’m dedicated to helping people achieve their health, fitness, and lifestyle goals.
I have extensive experience coaching 1-on-1, online, and in small groups, focusing on evidence-based practices to cut through fitness nonsense and misinformation. I’ve worked with Bray Wanderers Ladies Football Team and GAA players, providing strength and conditioning programs that enhance performance and fit their busy lifestyles.
My coaching philosophy is simple: "Eat Well, Move Well, Live Better." I aim to help people increase strength, performance, and energy while adopting healthy lifestyle habits for a better quality of life.
